 Elena is a professional landscape designer and is founder of Garden Sanctuaries by Design.
Along with her certification in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design from San Mateo College, San Mateo, California, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Fordham University in New York. Additionally, she was a resident student at the Sorbonne, Paris, France, and is a native Spanish speaker. Prior to moving her practice to Southern California in 1999, she worked with the design firm, California Gardens and Associates, San Carlos, California. She has been designing gardens since 1993. Her love of horticulture, her extensive knowledge, and her unique international perspective resonates in her designs. Each design is a work of art, hand drawn and a unique example of her creativity and design approach. |
